Painting in an impressionist style, Ghanaian artist James Amoah Atta offers this view of a local village market. Local townspeople gather around colorful huts as visitors come to browse their wares. Says the artist, "This is a village in the eastern region of Ghana called Dodoukrom, where food stuffs can be found in abundance during harvest and can be supplied to other urban areas. This village helps boost cocoa and other cash crops."
