The Guatemalan artisan became a carpenter after losing all of his savings in an unsuccessful business and ended up falling in love with the freedom and creativity it allowed him. He works mostly with reclaimed wood and enjoys seeing the artistic possibilities in materials that would otherwise get discarded.
