The smooth circumference of a pyrite sphere reveals a richly textured grain reflecting the singular creativity of Cesar Gonzáles. Fascinated with natural gemstones, he sculpts the polished globe by hand and sets it on a base of black onyx. Pyrite is believed to attract wealth and prosperity, while onyx is a stabilizing presence.

The Novica catalog caught my eye around the holidays. This was my first purchase from them and the four gemstones I received from Cesar Gonzales are beautiful and flawless. My six-year-old grandson loves rocks and gemstones of all kinds so I have shown him my jewelry that is made from gemstones. I wanted to have gemstones large enough to display and appreciate thek depth of color of the stones. There is something about having art that has a deep connection to the earth that feels very necessary at this time in history. I also have a deep commitment to supporting artisans who love nature and their work.
