Original Signed Costa Rican Fine Art Flower Painting, "Beneath the Water"

Flowers seem to sway underwater, propelled by gentle currents in a cool, clear brook. Daughter of a prominent ecologist and his artist wife, Sylvia Fournier shares her deep love of nature in this elegant painting. She calls her technique "photo art," digitally printing one of her original photographs on canvas, then painting over parts of it with acrylics, pastels, chalk and marking pens. The result is mesmerizing.
