Giorgiana and Miloika Penon design this set of four different spreaders made from teak wood. The utensils are polished with beeswax to give them luster, and the Costa Rican artisans recommend occasionally polishing them with any edible oil to maintain a soft sheen.

So, this came beautifully wrapped and is pretty. I will use it for cutting fruits to catch the juices. Great idea. I appreciate the handmade nature of it as well. However, I couldnt help but notice that it is actually three separate pieces of wood glued together. So, Im not sure how long it will last.
