Hand-Woven Striped Cotton Coin Purse in Black and Yellow, "Artisanal Stripes"

Vertical stripes in salmon and yellow interspersed with petite lilac dots are meticulously hand-woven from cotton on a black background by the artisans of Costa Rica's Association of So Cagru Indigenous Women for a very practical and fashionable coin purse that comes with a zipper closure. Celebrating the Boruca people's mastery of fibers, the artisans colour the cotton yarns with natural dyes made of flowers, leaves, clay, seeds, roots and tree bark.
