The Oleg Tamulilingan is a traditional Balinese dance intended to evoke the beauty of nature. The performers represent a male and female bee flitting around a garden, and thus the dance is sometimes called "the dance of the bumblebees". Ketut Bungkling hand-paints the figures in wonderful detail on this stunning egg-shaped albesia wood sculpture. The sculpture arrives on a wood stand.

This egg is truly unique and very well done. The artist is very talented. My husband has some painted ostrich eggs but this wooden egg fit in perfectly with his carved wooden animal collection.
