This stunning mask is the creation of West African artisan Daniel Quarcoo. Hand carved from local sese wood, the sculpture is decorated with textured aluminum plate and painted in hues of yellow and blue. The artisan names the sculpture Ketsre, a Ghanaian word that means "last born."

Meticulously crafted. This is a beautiful piece of art for my collection and is also the right size and design for my Christmas cultural decor. However it is smaller than expected because the stand is included in the stated measurement.

It really is made with love and care and that is evident. The super tiny dots painted on the face have been carefully placed and meticulously plotted out. I give full credit to this artist and the patience put into putting out this beautiful piece of work!
