Midnight blue paisleys float across Shahid's captivating wool shawl. Crafted from 100% wool with a jacquard technique, the shawl features a raised pattern woven right into the fabric. Indian artisans embellish the pattern with hand-embroidered motifs and finish the shawl with a row of dangling fringe on either end.

This shawls background material is fairly finely woven with a paisley pattern. The embroidery, in contrast, is made with fairly heavy thread. The colors are beautiful. The heavy embroidery makes this particularly good for wearing with a winter coat or on a very chilly day
