Wont Open!”

This is a beautiful hinged box but it wont open no matter what I do. It looks like there is tissue paper between the top and bottom but no matter how hard I pull, it wont open. I dont see a place where I can message the seller either. $104.99 for a box I cant use!

Valentines Gift for Husband”

This beautifully carved jewelry case I gave to my husband for Valentines Day, with a little something extra on the inside. It is lovely workmanship in wood carving and unique. The symbolic camel in the oasis symbolizes my husband, who is a refreshing delight and one of his nicknames!

Preserving Traditions

Preserving Traditions

Carving walnut wood is a passion for M. Ayub. He loves every aspect of this traditional art that was taught to him as a boy. A single piece can take many years for him to create; the wood must be gathered and carefully preserved before the carving can even begin. Once carved, it must be hand-rubbed with an agate stone to produce a beautiful refined finish. M. Ayub finds that many younger people do not have the patience for this craft and he fears that it is a dying art. He is dedicated to encouraging and motivating others to continue this magnificent Indian traditional craft and he stands ready to teach those willing to learn.
