The venerable and much-beloved Hindu deity Ganesha clutches a palm leaf manuscript in this magnificent sculpture from Wayan Rendah in Bali. The sculpture is carved of hibiscus wood in marvelous detail, from Ganesha's toes to his tusks. Known as the Remove of Obstacles, Ganesha is also the deva of wisdom and intellect.

Please note that natural hibiscus wood color can vary widely, from nearly white to dark taupe. Differences in the color and grain of the wood should be expected.
