The goddess has four arms, which represent the four aspects of human personality; intellect, mind, alertness, and ego. In this stunningly detailed statuette, Saraswati sits upon her swan guardian while playing a string instrument called the veena. The artisan hand carves this piece from natural crocodile wood.
