The inspired design of these earrings is by Mariana Llanes. "My intention was to honor the moon with these earrings," explains the Mexican designer. In the Nahuatl language, "Mexico" means "In the navel of the moon." The earrings are crafted by hand with sterling silver and four moonstone gems each.

“Pretty however....”

The moonstones are glued in and one fell out and is lost. Difficult to replace. But I am thinking of removing all of them and substituting something different. The silver work is fine.

“This arrived looking worn”
