This charming cotton stool by Indian designer Ganpat Mehta is handembroidered by women artisans in Rajasthan, India's colorful "Land of Kings." Standing atop acacia wood feet, the stool's intricate stitching features a mandala - a Hindu representation of the universe and a guide on the path to enlightenment.

This beautiful footstool has meticulously appointed stitching and beautifully carved legs. The mandala is exotically enchanting. Its also comfortably familiar, reminding me of my aunts footstool from childhood. A small furnishing that brings me so much joy, its hard to explain. Thank you to the skilled women who brought Ganpats lovely vision to life.
