Emmanuel Austin Ankude in Ghana crafts this horned mask to honor the Dogon people, an ethnic group located mainly in the administrative districts of Bandiagara and Douentza in Mali. The artisan hand carves the mask from sese wood with four horns, then paints the surface in harmonious shades of brown.
