“Just elegant”

I was excited to receive these sophisticated looking earrings. While not every day wear for me, they have added just the right panache to winter wear. I was worried they d be heavy but no. They don t pull my (soft) earlobes down - I have very small pierced holes and they stay in place.

“Great gift”

Tough to find different and appealing earrings for someone who already has many pairs. The material, color and construction are truly nice. Did not have a problem with the hinges; the earrings don t move around much which can be distracting at times. Overall, very satisfied.

“The closing mechanism is a deal breaker.”

Aesthetically, its a nice enough piece, but as the title states, the closing mechanism is awful. It came loose multiple times per day. And this isnt even when I was exercising. It would come loose just randomly throughout the workday (at a computer) and its be off by morning whenever I slept with it on. Pretty annoying. Its a straight bar that you stick through a circular metal hoop lengthwise to put it on. The bar is just slightly longer than the circumference of the hoop that is intended to hold it in place. Once through, you turn the bar so its length extends across the hoops circumference. The weight is then meant to hold the bar in place. It doesnt. For what it is, its pretty expensive too. As a result, its now sitting in a drawer that its unlikely to ever leave. Unfortunate.
