I was so pleased with this box. The size was a great surprise. It looks like a number of the masks I have seen. The artist should consider making a hanging version that opens and has key hooks inside. I would buy definitely buy more of his work. This is unique.

Throughout the world, from Central Asia to Central America, the decorative wooden box has evolved to become more than just a container. Decorative boxes can easily be incorporated with decor in any room and make a great gift for many types of occasions. Themes in our box collection include animal, floral and reverse painted glass and are designed from materials such as mate gourd. Featured artist Adelina Rendon was just seven years old when her mother taught her the family’s traditional art of lacquered wood. She creates several designs including small boxes, trunks and traditional masks. Rendon’s work has garnered her several awards.
